Privacy Policy

PickCheck is operated by Hive Asset Group, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who helps us handle it.

What we store

• Business details you enter: business name, website, city, state and the kind of service, together with the scan results we produce from them.
• Your email address, if you buy a paid plan (from Stripe checkout), so we can send your report link and weekly summaries.
• A hashed IP address. For free scans we store a one-way hash of your IP address (combined with a secret), not the address itself, to enforce daily limits and prevent abuse.
• Billing identifiers: your Stripe customer and subscription ids. We never see or store your card number.
• Optional measurement: our pages may load a first-party measurement script that records page views, referrer and campaign tags, with a random id kept in your browser. It does not receive your name, email or business details.

How we use it

To run scans and show you results, deliver paid plans, send service emails, prevent abuse, and understand which pages and articles bring visitors. We do not sell your information. Our public "AI Picks" pages are built from AI answers about generic local searches, not from the businesses people enter in the scan form.

Who processes data for us

• Stripe processes payments and subscriptions.
• Moonshot AI (Kimi) receives the questions we ask, which include the business category, city and state, and the answers it returns. Your business name and website are used by us to read the results and are not part of the questions.
• Netlify hosts the website and background jobs and stores our data (Netlify Blobs).
• Brevo (or Resend) sends our emails.

Retention and your choices

We keep scan results and account records while the Service operates or until you ask us to delete them. To access, correct or delete your information, or to ask about a charge, contact Hive Asset Group, LLC at support@pickcheck.co. Cancel Monitor at any time from the billing portal in your report.

Cookies and storage

We do not use advertising cookies. The optional measurement script described above uses your browser's local storage. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
